Some of us are new to WordPress, and some may be new to blogging entirely! On this page, we’ll collect some tips and tricks that will help us all enjoy our blogging more . Profile

When you log on, and have your dashboard open, look all the way to the right and you’ll see a link for “profile”. Click on the link and you’ll see your profile and personal options. You are completely in control of your own profile. Things you especially might want to consider: Add a picture, or some other icon to identify yourself – your avatar. This will avoid us having a bunch of empty silhouettes! If you need help creating a picture/icon, comment below and we’ll find you some help. Also – although you can’t change your username, you can change how your name displays when you write posts or make comments. You might consider using your first name, to make it personal, and because many of the folks here will know you. But, you should make your own decisions about identifying yourself. This blog is intended for our church members, but, in theory, anyone in the world can look at it.
